Celebrating 5 Years of LBE Design

Dear LBE Design Community,

With immense gratitude and a profound sense of accomplishment, we commemorate five years of LBE Design. Our journey began as a response to the frustration of subpar planters, and today, we stand proud of the quality and style we've brought into your lives.

In 2018, we left corporate careers to embark on a venture that aligned with our values. Traveling and connecting with diverse cultures, we discovered two universal truths: the world is brimming with talent, and people everywhere share a desire for happiness and well-being. From these insights, LBE Design was born.

Over the past five years, our proudest achievements at LBE Design include creating high-quality products that support small family producers while maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainability and functionality. Our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint is reflected in our 100% plastic-free packaging, underscoring our unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.

Our relocation to Mexico two years ago transformed us. Surrounded by craftsmanship and a slower pace of life, we've learned to appreciate beauty and simplicity. We've experienced warmth and patience in the local community, deepening our belief that a product is more than just an object—it's a connection.

One year ago we introduced the Artisan Series, a collaboration between talented ceramicists and master craftspeople in Mexico. Our first creation, The Rancho, designed by Angela Nicole Drew and produced by our skilled team, is a testament to the creative spirit. Since launch, Angela's journey has taken her to new heights, establishing 'Vessel Gallery And Clay Studio' in Newport, WA, where local artists shine. We're eager to expand this series; share your favorite ceramicists with us! 

Our move to Mexico also led us to Casa Slipper, an old property once owned by artists Gary and Anne-Marie Slipper. We're renovating artist studios to host future retreats and studies, preserving and evolving this beautiful space. Casa Slipper will become a haven for creativity, where artists from diverse backgrounds come together to collaborate.

As we celebrate these milestones and reflect on five incredible years, we thank each one of you for your support, feedback, and loyalty. You've been the driving force behind our growth and success. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here's to the next five years of creativity, innovation, and growth together.
